Refunds and cancellations
These terms apply to advisory engagements such as internal controls reviews, walkthroughs, testing, remediation support, and pre-audit readiness.
Eligibility
Fees paid for professional services are refundable only as described below. Website inquiries themselves carry no charge.
Deposits
A deposit that reserves fieldwork dates is generally non-refundable within fourteen calendar days of the scheduled start, because reviewer calendars are held for you. Deposits cancelled with more than fourteen days’ notice may be refunded in full or credited to a new date within six months.
Cancellation by the client
If you cancel after fieldwork has started, fees for days already worked and reasonable preparation time remain payable. Unused prepaid amounts for days not yet begun may be partially refunded after deducting preparation and travel already incurred.
Rescheduling
One reschedule with at least ten days’ notice is usually accepted without penalty, subject to reviewer availability. Later notices may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the engagement letter.
No-shows
If agreed process owners are unavailable without notice on scheduled walkthrough days, that day may be billed as worked. We will attempt to rebook remaining days when calendars allow.
Work already started
Draft findings, workpapers, and interim notes prepared before cancellation remain billable. Deliverables completed to the point of cancellation may be provided in the state they then exist.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs already committed with your approval—such as travel booked for remote plant visits—are non-refundable once incurred.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@app-cloudconnect.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.
Exceptions
If App CloudConnect cancels for reasons other than client breach or force majeure, prepaid unused fees are refunded in full. Force majeure delays are handled by rescheduling first.
