What we collect

Through contact forms we typically receive your name, email address, optional engagement interest, preferred timing, and the content of your message. During engagements we may process business contact details of staff involved in walkthroughs and testing.

Purpose and basis

We use inquiry data to respond to estimate requests and scoping questions. We use engagement contact data to perform contracted internal controls reviews and related advisory work. Processing is based on your request for steps prior to a contract, performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice in Taiwan.

Retention

Inquiry messages are retained up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement or dispute. Engagement workpapers and correspondence are retained according to professional record-keeping needs and the engagement letter, often several years.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with IT or hosting providers who process data on our instructions, or when law requires disclosure. Client confidential information from engagements is handled under engagement confidentiality terms.

International transfers

If a hosting or email provider stores data outside Taiwan, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable Taiwan personal data protection requirements.
